New Tour – New Dates – New Venues
The Angels are currently in the middle of a highly anticipated national tour to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of their chart busting album Face To Face.
Now, due to overwhelming demand, the band are announcing a second run of dates and venues right through October & November 2018 for their new tour.
Face II Face “Take A Long Line – Recharged 2018“
New Live & Studio Re-Recording Includes Extended Take A Long Line
To mark the current and upcoming tour, The Angels have completely re‐recorded a 2018 version of the album, both studio and live, including a very special extended version of the hit single Take A Long Line.
The CD release of the album will be available only at the gigs as a limited edition double album set and is certain to to become a collectors item.
One of the band’s most loved songs, and their first hit single in 1978, Take A Long Line peaked in the national charts at #26, remaining there for 29 weeks, while the Face To Face album itself remained in the charts for a year and a half.
The Angels were not to know it at the time, but they had unwittingly created the musical soundtrack of a generation.
Both Face To Face tours will see the band play the entire album live from beginning to end before a second set of all their other classic hits and favourites.
Rick Brewster says “… tracks like Straightjacket, Outcast, Love Takes Care, and Live It Up that don’t often make it into the live set will be a high point for both the band and the audience.“
